STi pink springs question

well i was talking to my buddy last night, and he claimed there was a thread over on NASIOC discussing the possibility of LGT lowering springs. He said-he SWORE that someone confirmed that the WRX STi pinks would fit on the LGT. has anyone heard about this? anyone got part #s? if this is true, that would kick some major ass, i could use my Subaru Bucks at the dealer for them. if he's wrong, oh well :(

Been out for a while, expect by april for them to show up in the STI catalog for our car, but if you check the Japanesse catalog they are all ready listed, and a few places have them for sale now, and they are made specifically for the Legacy, not the wrx

The Legacy has been using a rear multi-link suspension design since the previous BE/BH series. This is different than the MacPherson strut design that the WRX/STi and Forester uses. While the front suspension is basically the same (MacPherson strut) across models, the rear difference makes any suspension part swapping from the wrx/forester to the Legacy impossible.

Now, the first and second generation Legacies did use a MacPherson strut in the rear - it is on those models that suspension is swappable from the WRX/Forester to the Legacy and vice versa.

Cheers,
