^ i didnt watch any youtube video's...all self taught son...get it right

 

from the film days/and real dark room situations, you determine crop then do burning and dodging as needed...

who what if your subject is only a part of the picture then what? you adjust lighting/exposure for the whole pic but your subject is either washed out or too dark? then what? crop then readjust? :lol: not everything is shot in hdr, or should be

you adjust the whole pic based off the subject.

 

The reason I was taught to adjust the whole pic was because when you go to crop it afterwards you might find that your original crop idea has changed and so you add it something else.

 

If you crop first you have to start all over to try and redo the adjustments after re-cropping.

Yeah it's always best to crop last.

 

Good thing we don't have to worry about which we do first with Lightroom, huh Rigo. ;)

can't believe cs4 is coming out this soon after cs3.....

 

and free hookups for software? add me in G! haha

 

cs3 did not have 64bit support, with 64bit being basically standard now...64bit support was needed

true... but again digitally it doesnt really matter...well i guess is PS since going back deletes everything you did, easier fix in lightroom :spin::lol:
