lookslikeanevo
^ i didnt watch any youtube video's...all self taught son...get it right from the film days/and real dark room situations, you determine crop then do burning and dodging as needed... MiniStiGuy
but thats for film... we are talking digitally. I mean there is no right or wrong weather you crop after or before but the way I was taught was to always adjust the picture as a whole first then crop after. lookslikeanevo
^I know...you're wrong im right ..lol j/k i u who what if your subject is only a part of the picture then what? you adjust lighting/exposure for the whole pic but your subject is either washed out or too dark? then what? crop then readjust? not everything is shot in hdr, or should be Current:MY05 SWP wagon - 253/290 UP, AEM CAI, Invidia Q300, tuned@yimisport OLD: MY06 GRP - 274/
MiniStiGuy
you adjust the whole pic based off the subject. The reason I was taught to adjust the whole pic was because when you go to crop it afterwards you might find that your original crop idea has changed and so you add it something else. If you crop first you have to start all over to try and redo the adjustments after re-cropping. OEM HID's Rx330 Retro
axis008
Yeah it's always best to crop last. Good thing we don't have to worry about which we do first with Lightroom, huh Rigo. -ben
