isuace
I installed my Koni's (with the WORX Tuning springs I got from Praedet) yesterday....and my car went from looking like this... http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j274/isuace/carleftold.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j274/isuace/rightside1.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j274/isuace/carwheelwellold.jpg to this.... http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j274/isuace/carleftnow.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j274/isuace/carrightnow.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j274/isuace/carwheelwellnow.jpg The spring seat (or whatever you wish to call it) on the Koni strut is definitely higher than the stock strut. Not sure what the solution to this is... or if there even should be a solution. I liked where it sat before, pretty much level all the way 'round before. BigBad
whoa... you def have some height in the rear. The front does not look any lower that stock. Was it your orig objective to lower the front and rear with this setup?

bgLGT
Weird, all the other koni installs I've seen have sat level. Did you get the wrong rear shocks sent somehow. Did you check the perch height to the OEM rears. Were those rears springs wagon specific?
NSFW
What springs did you have on it before? HTech? Pink? It looks lower than stock.

isuace
I checked the model numbers on the boxes that I got against the numbers listed on the website, and against the model numbers listed in the main Koni thread. The "before" pictures were with the same springs and oem struts. With that setup they sat pretty much level. The perch is definitely higher on the Koni's than the OEM's. I did not have to compress the springs at all to get them on the OEM struts, and I had to compress them a good bit to fit them on the Koni's. I may have to call Shox.com and see if they can lend any insight.

isuace
Can any of you other Koni owners measure from the bottom of the strut to the bottom of the spring seat/perch for me? Want to see if there is a difference in the product I got vs. what everyone else has.

fweasel
That is definately not right, not to mention your rear alignment is probably a bit out of spec at the moment. ignore him, he'll go away.

Guest
Btw, don't drive like this, you can break the retaining ring and suddenly go from monte carlo style to slammed to the ground style. When the seat is mounted properly it will actually "encompass" the ring so to prevent it from poping out from the grove.
