LGTLuver
Not even 2 seconds after reading your post did my wife call me to tell me she was hit in my car. This is twice to 3 months for her. Lets just say I feel your pain. I feel my legacy's pain. I feel your legacy's pain. It is a sad day my friends. I think my wife is done driving the legacy. It should be seen as a privalege to drive it. Not just a vehicle. I am going to go cry...
tommypenguin
Damn man, that is terrible news. Ah, that is awful I can't believe that happened. How bad is the legacy hurt? There are way too many people driving that are waiting to cause an accident. Is your wife alright?
LGTLuver
Damn man, that is terrible news. Ah, that is awful I can't believe that happened. How bad is the legacy hurt? There are way too many people driving that are waiting to cause an accident. Is your wife alright? Thanks man. Yeah the wife is fine. She was rear ended by a blind woman in a rental car. When I say blind I mean virtually blind. This woman claimed her brakes failed, but she could even tell the color of my black car. Then my wife hands her our insurance info and she cant read it?!!! The woman has no right to be driving. So I guess from what the wife tells me, we need a new rear bumber. I do not think there is any structural damage, but then again I have not seen the car yet. How much does that cost? I may ask the lady to pay us cash and avoid the whole insurance company garbage. All I know is I am depressed. Almost to the point of selling the legacy for some POS beater to avoid any further hearbreak. Either that ban the wife from driving even though it wasn't her fault...or
evak
Damn Tommy...Hopefully the bad luck is over. I've seen other WRX owners pulled over and threatened to be impounded, license pulled, just for revving their engines inside tunnels. I will deff recomend getting an Escort...at least you know if the cop clocked you or if he's "guessing". The only ticket I've seen dropped was my wifes because the cop did not put a location on the ticket. Hope things get better for you, mang.
rony
It's the exhaust, go back to stock with the downpipe and it will sound just like stock. A Goalie and LGT owner... Lol, thought I might be the only one!!! My Car vBGarage

Lol, thought I might be the only one!!! I going to put the cobb on for smell and for the fact it will mate up exactly with the stock exhaust. I should have never sold my borla catback... tragic. tommypenguin
I was told by enthusiast that if I put on stock mufflers on my perrin cat back sound should much quieter, what are peoples thought on running the perrin mid/y and leaving the stock cans on? Anyone have some stock mufflers sitting around?
CTATV
I know your pain, I was on my brothers motorcycle riding next to my friend 2 days before going to school, got a BS 300 dollar speeding ticket not even going very fast because i was "accelerating hard" I was just catching up to tell him to take a right at the next intersection. Then When i crashed my car on the way to school I got a ticket for "failing to stay in assigned lane, and it put me over the ticket limit and now i have driver re-training this weekend, like crashing my car wasnt expensive enough. But now im getting an 05 LGT ltd so i guess it all works out in the end

Anyone have some stock mufflers sitting around? That is what I was going to suggest. The stock mufflers sould knock the noise way down. If you can't find any locally; let me know cause I have a pair of stockers in the shed. I planned on using them with my SPT CBE during the winter, but they won't bolt up so there they sit. Let me know. Don't you guys have the defensive driving class option in CO? We can just take a 8 hour class here and the ticket is erased. That way you could at least get rid of one of them. Let's kick this pig!
VtspecB
Damn those panties!!! I think they cursed you, but they sure smelled good didn't they? Honestly sorry to hear about your misfortunes. In NY and CT I've been able to get tickets either reduced or dropped 75% of the time, but only dropped when you can find some sort of inconsistancy on the ticket. my vBGarage
DoubleM
hey, tommypenguin, if you want to get rid of your Perrin cans, I might be interested. I have some stockers sitting in my garage too. Oh, and you should challenge the ticket, half the time the cop doesn't even show up=you win.

tommypenguin
I haven't even seen her this week at all, been too damn busy, I'm so exhausted. Which reminds me I need to get a hold of her and find out what we are doing for Halloween. How have things been going with your lady? Tomorrow I'm taking my car to subaru tomorrow to get inspected and from there I will make a choice on a body shop. Hopefully have my baby looking hot again within a couple of weeks. tommypenguin
I didn't see the highlights I just know malkin and crosby hooked up for a couple goals. I've been impressed with Fleury this year, he looks really good. That's awesome 3 goalies on here, how is your team doing?
Neurodancer
I didn't see the highlights I just know malkin and crosby hooked up for a couple goals. I've been impressed with Fleury this year, he looks really good. Fleury looked good thru the first 2, but was absolutely horrendous in the third! The Pens folded to an old & slow team and Fleury returned to his early-season form. I hope tomorrow is better!
BoozeRS05
Pickup games only anymore. I've had shoulder problems over the last 8 years, and they tend to be exposed while playing.. Dislocating shoulder while I'm covering rebounds = No fun.. vr4Legacy
It's definately the exhaust. I KNOW I was targeted when I had my RS Impreza. It had dark tint. I got pulled over for the TINT ALONE. Wasn't speeding, cop didn't mention it, JUST THE TINT. Another time I had a cop almost hit ME while trying to merge onto an entrance ramp as I was exiting (one of those shared deals) I floored it to keep him from sideswiping me, next thing I see is blue lights and him YELLING at me....... I haven't changed my driving a bit (if anything I've gotten more agressive with the power) and cops don't look twice at a stock more sophisticated vehicle. I fought a speeding ticket here in NC, hired a Lawyer. Apparetnly they have a BS clause that you can have the ticket lowered to improper equipment once every two years (don't tell me they don't write tickets just for money ) Sorry to hear about your misfortune, hopefully everything ends up for the best. tommypenguin
cops don't look twice at a stock more sophisticated vehicle. That is the truth, I had been driving 10mph over in speed traps before w/o getting a second look, as soon as the exhaust went on, its been a slew of hassel from the police. On a positive note I installed my AVO TMIC last night, Woohoo! Fitment was great, install was so easy a cave man could do it in 30 minutes. Sounds like your spirits are up! My girl's been lame. As I told you she's afraid of commitment, so she keeps her distance at times. Which is why she flaked out on our Halloween party and went out w/ her girl who just broke up w/ her bf. She called me the next morning, I didn't answer, and haven't called her back. I'm still trying to figure out if I wanna bring it up and be like, "Look either you're not that into me or you aren't letting yourself be vulnerable to any guy at this point. For us to continue talking, I need to know that you're at least up for the possibility of us getting more serious." Dunno. Sucks b/c she's super fun, short, and very cute. On a good note, I had the best costume Saturday night. I went as a "Dick in a box" guy complete w/ a squirt gun penis in my present! Some guys convinced me to fill it up w/ milk which I did and squirted people all night long. Great, great time! I always dance like a fool by the end of party nights- awesome!
