Bbc84
Blackhousing on 08 headlights were done yesterday, and instaled HIDs, but cant find where to put the ballast at especially the driver sides. anyone got tips and pics? i have 2 ballasts for low beams, 2 for fog lights. Passenger side i put one bolt through the body behind the horn, then drivers side i just looped the HID harness over the windshield washer container and its just dangling there. Fogs have not been installed since i ordered wrong size bulbs, but still need ideas for placing balasts.
rao
I would mount them in the boxes as I came to my senses and returned them but I have seen it done on the bumper beam; some of the local folks put them there. Bbc84
I wish there were more mounting spots, when I get HID fogs imma need even more room, I think drivers side im going to 3M double sided tape it to the windshield fluid tank.
drifterx
would they get too hot for the windshield fluid tanks?

psucaptainkickass
I have HIDs for the low beams: Right under the battery, on top of the windshield washer tank is where one went. The other one went unter the Air Box, mounted vertically (on a metal beam or something). I used the double sided tape, and then jury rigged some zip ties around it for extra support. Make sure you put electrical tape near and nuts or bolts the ballast may come in contact with. For fogs, no clue.
