Thanks for the pics man, it made today go alot easier. Oh and I had similar problems, bolts not being right, alottt of trimming, and beat up goods. Although wbc taped all the bolts into there proper brackets for me which made life a lil easier.

(Crappie pic in the dark, but its bad together :))

Nice work!

Question 1: Are you still using your stock turbo with the WBR kit?

Question 2: Assuming you have an COBB AP2 did you need a new map?

Question 3: What differences have YOU felt since the install of the FMIC?

WBR VS. PERRIN VS. AVO ? which one is the best bang for buck and ease of installation?

1) Fmic wouldnt make much sense on a stock turbo, but you can do it.

2)You dont need a new map, but most gains will come from a tune with it.

3)I thought the kit was a good fmic kit for the money. Installation wasnt that bad, but it not a direct bolt on and plan to run to the autoparts store a couple of times during the install. I think any fmic you go with will give you trouble installing.

It depends what all wbr includes now. This guide was pretty good to me when I was installing it. A few extra things I remember needing was a dremel for cutting with some extra cutting blades for it, extra bolts, coolant, extra coolant hose, t fitting, and some rubber caps to plug the coolant line when you reroute it. I just remember running back and fourth a handful of times so you want to have a spare car around when your doing the install.

Tru dat below VV,...

I didnt have to cut any of the subframe except to cut the driver side edge by the headlight(? forgot) but this was shown in the instruction pics....

and using a dremel with the cutoff sawblade IS the tool to use to cut your bumper,...Do get the rubber end caps for your coolant lines and plastic,..better yet, metal Ts to reroute your coolant lines to overflow tank..I personally didnt like the round one included in the kit, so I went to parts store and bought another overflow tank for <$8....The one in the kit I dont think holds enough and overflowed alot....

There are a few more threads with installs and pics on this forum too,...I did one...
