Any one rolling on 19's

So I have been looking around and I have seen only a few legacy's with 19's. Is it a personal choice to go with 18's, or are 19's just to big and rub on the fender/wheel wells? I would really like to put 19's on my car but if there are fitting issues I don't want to have to deal with that. I mean I could roll my fenders a little bit but would rather not. So anyone got 19's? pics would be dope, comment are even more helpful.

Thanks,

Rob

I loved the way my 19x8 Volk Progressive TEs :wub:looked on my '05 Leg GT Wagon but they DID have some rubbing issues. I had 235/35/19 tires on them too... I'm pretty sure you could get away with the larger rim if your car wasn't dropped too much(mine was on Tein Flexes)... With my current set-up, I would rub only when really hammering on it(hard acceleration/turning on rough roads in the NW) but the flexes are really stiff so it might be an issue...

I have yet to take pictures of it with the 19s on because the waterspots from the previous owner are killing me... I'll be sure to send some your way should I get around to it...

Thats my 2cents. Hope it helps in the decision.

Nope, not Hanger's ride. That car belongs to itsme. I sold him those wheels off my car. I'm now rolling a set of SSR D5R 19x8.5 wheels with 225/35/19 tires. No rubbing, no problems. From a purely aesthetic point of view, 19's look best on the LGT (IMHO).

From my old N/A Sedan.

19's at stock height. I flipped this pic in PS to make it the same direction for comparison.lol

19's on S-techs, after they settled they rubbed over tiny bumps with 2 people in the car. They actually settled another inch from this pic lol

19's with H-techs, didnt rub even with 2 people except on really big bumps It settled a bit from this pic, maybe 1/2" or so.

Overall I prefered the way the S-techs felt, but I couldnt stand not being able to really drive the car. I ended up going to 18's and keeping the H-techs on the sedan, and now the same setup is on my LGT wagon.

I think 19's look great also, so that first pic you had, the blue N/A was riding on stock suspension right? I have a satin white and damn they look good with 19's, I can't wait to figure out which set I am going to get. Thanks for the help guys! Anyone else have 19's out there on stock suspension?

How does the car handle with 19's? I gotta assume they are pretty heavy...

About 24 lbs each. The tires are pretty light so that offsets them somewhat. Other than a little heavier steering effort, I don't really feel the weight of the wheels compared to the light BBS RGR's I used to have. Acceleration wise, I really can't tell, but then again my car makes a wee bit more power than stock ;)
