mccorry
The boost gauge was a factory option..for 300 something dollars. -Tyler
Um...no... it wasn't. I looked, asked, and even offered to pay extra. No dice. Best you can do from a NA Subaru dealer is a gauge from a WRX. The Genome guages are really nice...but $1,200 ..... GEESH! wayne53
I was told by my salesman that I could get the gauge from them. He could have been lying, I'm not. -Tyler
slip304
I was told the same thing by my salesman right up untill I signed my paperwork, then I was told that it wasn't available for the legacy.. It is for the baja, probably the forester and most all the impreza's, just not the leg...
RobY
A pillar gauges might become a very nice projectile if the side curtain airbag inflates.
mccorry
I have seen video of the side airbags deploying.... it does not affect the A-pillar.

SBT
I think that vid removes any fear I have about any A-Pillar interference with the driver's SCA deployment. Now to find an A-Pillar pod that is a classy as the pillar liner. SBT - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
axis008
To be quite honest, I don't think the Legacy is the type of car that I see having an A-pillar gauge setup. The A-pillar pod won't look bad, don't get me wrong, but I see something in the center console, or somehow blended in with the steering column (and not with the Perrin thing :p). Just my opinion though... -ben
SBT
A008, You're absolutely correct, but I can't see putting a pod on the steering wheel either. So my initial solution will be to put something on the A-pillar until I can find the center console sytem that meets my needs, at a price point that I can afford and which matches up with the car's dash/interior. mccorry
I ended up putting two in a cubby mount I made... and a third in an AVO dash mount pod. Turned out pretty good, IMHO....

Custom fit with a 1din gauge plate from 42draft designs, made for a GTI. I was thinking about the perrin, but only holds two.
