Bdubs
I was just informed a family member was killed in a car accident in Bristol yesterday. You'd think the high ass insurance rates would prevent kids from driving a WRX, but it doesn't stop mommy and daddy from buying one of these for Junior. Please everyone, be responsible and think about not only the people around you but the passengers in your car as well. http://www.wfsb.com/news/13966017/detail.html
tenbaseg
I saw this on the news this morning. Very sad. At the time, the only thing they were saying was that one of the cars had crossed the double yellow. Not only is it a couple miles from me, but it always hits a little closer to home when it's a fellow subie owner.
rjundi
Fortunately, I hope we are a smarter and wiser crowd. However I feel terrible for all involved including those very young passengers.

SLegacy99
I still don't understand why parents buy their kids such powerful cars. When I was 16 I had a 155 hp Subaru Legacy and that was more power than I needed. I still don't think Im ready for a new LGT. Too much power. SLegacy99
No wonder why you like Hybrids so much.. they're slooo! Accord hybrid, Altima Hybrid, GS450h, RX400h, LS600h, Highlander hybrid all fast.
wukindada
Sooo sad to hear..... Just another reason why a more thorough driving school system is needed nationwide Not saying this would not happen but the occurrance would not be so frequent. Soon regardless of price no-one will be able to afford the ins. on a WRX/STI Toyota 6EATS .........SUCK!!!!!!

ScoopMan
I always hate hearing stories like this. What a terrible waste. Bad enough that the driver kills himself, but he has to kill his three passengers as well, and very nearly kills completely innocent people in the other car. I agree that young and inexperienced drivers with raging hormones have no business driving hot cars like the WRX. Too late for these poor kids and their families. My condolences.
