don't leave a landing strip, don't leave a slight tuft, take it all off!

only in the US do we need a subaru emblem and the letters spelling subaru, same with Infiniti or Lexus, a badge and the words.

personally I debadge every vehicle, even my POS chevy malibu. it's what they do overseas, and what cars should look like here. I condisdered taking off the subaru badge, but I don;t know what to fill the holes with

if the average person or average meter maid doesn't know what it is, GREAT!

I kinda like the GT sitting there all alone... when I do mine I might just go down to 2.5GT or just GT like that.

Trac, that avatar is too effin hilarious!! LMAO!!

they should make a bumper sticker of that!! Or put it somewhere on the T-shirts they're making!

Kagen, I was debating doing the same thing... leave just the GT or 2.5 GT. I was trying to picture what it would look like. I kinda like just the GT, I might do it myself. I think i'll strip it down to the 2.5GT and compare it to your pic and see which I like best!

I also thought about changing the position slightly, down to the lower right corner or something. I dunno how stickey the emblems are after you remove them.

Another thing I debated momentarily was moving the Legacy symbol somewhere else on the trunk, maybe dead center of that little lip between the Subaru Star emblem, and the license plate. I dunno about that though, would have to see it first.

Another idea was to get another GT symbol and move them to the side of the car somewhere, although I really have no idea where I 'd put em, so I probably wouldn't do that.

I usually just don't like ANY words on cars. Go clean.. the design of the car speaks loudly enough. That's just me, I digress...

Shoot me a clean straight-on shot of your car's ass if you'd like, I'll mock up some of those options you're considering. But forget the idea of moving the existing badges around. Once you've softened them up with the hairdryer and removed them with fishing line, the adhesive won't hold again. You'd probably need to purchase new badges if you're interested in a reconfiguration that's different from any of the stock locations.

a little 3 am adhesive tape will work for rebadging, if you wanted to move things around. a buddy of mine has a stage 3 audi S4 avant, thing is fast as hell, but it looks like a sleeper, so he badged it with A4 1.8t emblems, to throw off Jersey car theives and those thinking they could win in a race :)

i got rid of the 2.5GT (pic 1) and put a GT overlay over the trunk subaru logo (pic 2) That covers the GT part. Then moved the GT to the front grille. (pic 3)

Wow... good work dude!! Now I have to decide what looks better! I definitely think no LEGACY emblem. Either 2.5GT, just GT, or naked. Hate to be a pain but could you do one completely stripped too?

Thanks a ton!!

Nice... thanks man! It looks nice naked too! I like that, or just the 2.5 GT I think... gonna be tough to decide!!

Kagen: I agree, the chrome does match the QSM nice too.

Muddy: where'd you get that overlay? that's hawt!!!

Oh, and the clean look goes REAL nice with the white. Looking good Tina! (the car that is, although I'm sure your a cutie too! ;) )

I'd ask (and maybe it says in Robson's guide) but I think there's holes under the rear emblem. That might change your plans, dunno, but worth checking into.
