sirsimon
I have no problems with dust from my HPS pads, but the car gets a bath every week, so it doesn't have much time to build up.
c-lo
noticed an increase in front wheel dust. but my car gets bathed every week, so I don't mind too much:rolleyes: 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos

fweasel
HPS, same or less dust than OEM on my car. HP+, way more dust than either and noisier as well. ignore him, he'll go away.

fweasel
thats kinda disappointing...im hopin for alot less brake dust but better braking then stock any other suggestions? What's disappointing? Both the Hawk HPS and Ceramic pads will stop better than the OEM pads. HPS dusts less than the OEM pads on my car (some report the same, some a little more). ignore him, he'll go away. mlloydlgt
I want a set that is good or better in stopping power, but makes NO NOISE. That's right, I can wash dust off, but squeal never goes away. Suggestions? The OEM pads seem almost as pricey as Hawks. Mike

JeffK1320
I've been researching this issue as far as brake dust goes. Wheel wax is an option for most but if you have Brembos, different pads might be an option as well. Need someone to buy and test out these pads. spacejunkiehsv
I've had Hawk HPS pads on the front for a couple of months. I can't really tell any difference at all as far as dusting goes. I only wash my car every 3-4 weeks though, the main reason I buy silver cars. However, I can tell you that I am very happy with the performance of the brake pads. They are perfect for how I drive this car.
