Autophysics
Autometer has a new line of gauges that look very sweet. They sweep like the subie gauges, data logging and more. axis008
I like the way they look. I'll probably still get Defi gauges, but I really like the expansion feature these gauges have. -ben
rodan
Cool... I just installed an AM boost gauge, and was getting ready to order the EGT, but I may wait until these become available. I couldn't find any pricing info... anyone seen prices yet?

Ken S
Very cool gauges. They sure put in a lot of flexibility for changing the "look". They would be a great match for our dash. Loved the website. Ken
fan42025
Very nice but wouldn't it be easier and more flexible to do all the fancy color changing and info stuff with an LCD screen setup?
Guest *Jedimaster*
I like the chick's voice too- but when the engine starts, that's pure music- sounds like an LT1.
KevinSoD
i have an idea i might be getting these over the defi's i have defi's in my GC8 but these look way better than the defi's and it appears that i wont have to mount a link control unit anywhere, i can operate from the remote control anyone got pricing on that stuff? Deer Killer
Hopefully they won't gouge us like Defi does. $300 for a voltmeter and a PIC chip. Mechanical gauges are much harder to make. I'd already have a Defi if it was reasonable.

Autophysics
Cut and pasted from a Honda board http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1045844 - BEGIN PASTE - Dear Sir, The Nexus gauge series is currently scheduled for a January release. As we get closer to then, the release date will become more firm. Please feel free to check back with me via email for updates. As for pricing, the individual gauges with senders will sell for approximately $199-249.00 each. The Sensor Module and Remote is sold as a kit for approximately $199. This is required for Nexus gauge operation. The initial lineup is for the following 7 gauges: 6455: Water Temp (100-260) 6459: Boost/Vac (30 In. Hg. / 30 PSI) 6445: EGT (0-2,000) 6453: Oil Pressure (0-100 PSI) 6456: Oil Temperature (140-300) 6474: Nitrous Pressure (0-1600) 6463: Fuel Pressure (100 PSI) 6400: Sensor Module + Remote Control We have tentative plans to offer additional instruments, but these will be finalized and announced in the coming months. The first of which will likely be a tachometer to be available in the early Spring of 2005. Sincerely, Marc Erickson - END PASTE -

Lots of suckers and some with money to burn. Look's like they are trying to get some of Defi's business. I suppose if you're buying bling.... I think the choice is coming down to an omori adjustable backlight like here http://www.legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1901 for a little more than a $100. I say we organize a group buy once there are some more GT's on the road.
rodan
Ouch. Since I'm hiding them in the cubby anyway, I think I'll stick with the Phantom series...
not to flame... but its not all about bling.... you tell me of another system aside from Defi (and now autometer) that offers full record and playback functionality, as well peak hold at the touch of a button that will show the peak for ALL gauges linked to the system. Not to mention defi has a warning light, and audible alert. Most people dont pay constant attention to their speedometer, let alone other gauges... the audible alert and visual signals that your oil or water temp is too high, or if you overboost slightly... My Defi system in my RS is well worth every penny, I paid less than 800 for three gauges with link unit shipped because i got it in a package deal. -Kevin
