ilh
When taking off my stock winter wheels, the fronts where securely fastened to the hubs by corrosion. It took quite a lot of force on the wheel to jostle it loose. Is there anything recommended to use between the wheel and hub to minimize this in the future? I'm a little nervous about using something with too much lubricating properties in this location. I'm used to a good "punch" with the palm of my hand to knock a wheel loose, but this took 5-10 kicks with the bottom of my foot at pretty much maximum force. I was about to break out the sledge hammer.
pillboy
I use anti-sieze paste. Never had an issue. It is still ugly.

NEPA
Changed my cousin's flat last year on a two year old Civic. Kicked the H out of it & it wouldn't break loose. Thought I was gonna have to call AAA to get it off - embarassing! Found a good smack against the tire with the spare does the job.
LittleBlueGT
I lke to clean everything with an emery cloth and brake cleaner, then use some anti-sieze and wipe just a small amount of it around so it is only very thin layer.
