edmundu
Go to Lee, no one better! He's on this board too. I believe his company name is Applied Film Technology.... You can get a hold of him here http://azpinstalls.com/Leetint/ He's probably done just about every Subie around the Tri-state... Edvig
Without a doubt, go to Lee for your tint. He picked up his GT last week and is on this board now...screen name Leeberbs. Lee trims his tint with the glass in place and gets it right on the edge of the glass.
leeberbs
Edmundo - I sure hope you are after all we went through. Edvig - tint the wagon I'll finally have some time to tint my own car tomorrow. Pics will be up sooner or later. Email me at leeberbsREMOVE@comcast.net (take out the remove, of course) -Lee
Ken S
Is it true that to tint windows properly, they actually disassemble the door glass, etc.?
Not necessarily. The tint can be tucked in below where the windows meet the top of the door. The only place where that might be necessary is on the front windows due to the side mirror gusset. A tinter may stretch the gusset to tuck in the tint thereby affecting it's ability to seal. Worse yet, some tinters may cut or tear the gusset.
