SLegacy99
You're not allowed to have an engine bigger than a 2.0L in rallying correct?
Scotty
Correct. There is also a restrictor plate on the intake which effectively limits horsepower to about 300 hp. The engines are tuned for torque with a large usable range. Typically they will produce about 400-450 ft. lbs.

kanoswrx
Wow they changed a whole lot on that car. No more reverse manifold, the whole engine pay looks so different. Air filter where the hood scoop is. Pretty cool.
IwannaSportSedan
I've always wondered why they didn't do that earlier... And aftermarket on street cars. FMIC conversions seem to be quite poplular, and I can technically see why... but with a built in hood scoop, in seems natural to relocate the air filter element there. I've always wondered what it would be like if someone did that with a Legacy, with a FMIC, and a forward-facing manifold, and a nicely sized twin-scroll turbo and equal length headers. With the airfilter visibile under the engine cover, rather than the TMIC...
