andaconda
I don't understand how you wait 9 weeks for a car and don't know what kind of car it is. Well, it looks just like the 06 Legacy that I traded in on it. The manual in the glove box has both Legacy and Outback on its cover. When I ordered it I looked at a picture of one... that's what I went by. Never even so much as sat in one before I took delivery of it. Dealer asked if I wanted to take it for a test drive first -- told them nope, it'll be just fine. I screwed my license plate on the back and called it mine. gianspi
Technically, it is considered a Legacy Outback. Legacies and Outbacks are 100% identical, except for suspension and more rugged body panels. Think of it as a Legacy with a bodykit. enough zip ties and duct tape will fix anything. jazzymt
Thanks for the warm welcome -- you must be from the Bo-zone?Not anymore - although I did live there for 5 years while I was going to school. Dick Walter in Bozoland is another sweet Subie dealership. Unfortunately Rimrock out here in Billings is not. I actually live in Laurel (10mi w of Billings).I'll have to consider that. Where did you pick up the 19 or 20mm? Seems a little heavy to me.I got a 19mm IPD swaybar from Rallitek, but they also sell a 20mm AVO (and others). Take a look: http://www.rallitek.com/suspension1.html They are a great vendor to deal with & hella fast shipping to us here in MT. I bought a Jeep and Jetta from Dick Walter. Hated their service shop. Decided to shop a little closer to home. Been happy with Butte Subaru for a couple of years now. andaconda
OK, I consider it a Legacy Outback. Case closed. It's official from the DMV now. The title directly from Subaru says, and I quote: "Subaru Legacy OTBCK" note the OTBCK in cap letters. So I went from an '06 Legacy to an '07 Legacy OTBCK. Boy, was the Registration office confused when I transfered my personalized plates.
