Jedi Pimp
I didn't see any coverage of the 2008 Legacy on autoblog, autoweek, leftlanenews, etc. No journalists give a turd about Subaru or something?
NovaWolverine
It's not newsworthy enough for them. Can't say that I disagree, esp. w/ all the other headliners. And the cynics will say SOA should have come out harder for the show. It's like from that one Seinfeld episode. "At least give me a blurb or something!" apexjapan
Just a matter of priorities, it takes time to write up the articles. I wager they will get to it eventually, but for now it's just a minor refresh of one of many sedans on the market. D0WNxSH1FT
+1 autoblog has it now. But really, why would they give it press? Who cares about a bumper change, and a useless engine like the 3.0 H6. Its slow, and if they make it the flagship, overpriced. Mitsubishi did it right. Release concept cars that are actually just testing customers reaction to what your final product will look like. The Concept X is great, and it created buzz. Where is the Sti? 08 WRX hatch? LGT SpecB? No one gets excited about a H6 automatic. /opinion

mkaresh
I was there. And in my descriptions of the show failed to mention it. I didn't even notice the big news, which is that the Legacy wagon is gone. As you may expect, they didn't exactly stress this at the press conference. psucaptainkickass
Are the bumpers still longer than the JDM counterparts (and I notice they are the same shape)? I like the new fog light covers...but in the back on the 3.0R. Its like those bumper reflector/lights are recessed, due to a longer rear bumper vs. JDM. I don't like that. wukindada
Dull & non impresive model updates & thats what you get....... All they would have had to do to make the front page of the rags is bump the engine management a bit so the car was rated @ say.....285HP Toyota 6EATS .........SUCK!!!!!!
