FredBeans
Ive done some searching here and have read a lot of stories of people successfully installing at least front Brembos from an STi - question is -- do they bolt right up or are they like the rears and require lots of modification. I took one of our Brembos out to a LGT in the shop that was getting its brakes done and it doesnt look like they bolt up -- thanks guys
PGT
they bolt up perfectly, just make sure to keep the caliper bolts with each set (don't reuse the LGT bolts on Brembo's).
edmundu
100% Pure bolt-on! Even the dustshields clear the larger Sti rotor... Parts needed: caliper mount bolts rotor YOu can use the stock LGT brakes lines, or aftermarket SS lines too! They are the same on the front. I did the swap in literally 45 minutes, start to finish in my driveway.
AWDxBOOST
IIRC you need 04 rotors, and any year calipers
mickeyd2005
These would look nice: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subaru-WRX-STi-Limited-Black-Brembo-Caliper-Conversion_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33564QQihZ005QQitemZ150078163984QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW with these in the rears: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49180&highlight=racing+brake+rear The easiest way for me to find a wheel that fits is to cross reference 2004 STi wheels. Stock LGT wheels won't fit of course due to the offset.
Opie
Fronts - complete bolt-on Rears (Brembo kit for the WRX) - Just a little grind of the spindle (5 minutes) and they bolt right up. http://www.thel7.com/Wills/2.5GT/PFF7.JPG
