aussie_chicago
Some pics I took at work,Ive only had this car 2 weeks, wasnt real crazy about the color,my wife really liked it so I got it,but now Ive had it longer,Im really loving the color,my only gripe is the light interior is very easy to mark and dirty, but its much nicer in the summer compared to the dark grey interior on my OB wgn. Anyway, this color really sparkles in the sun....Aussie

Guest Gitster
I have a blacked out grill (no chrome) like yours and it just doesn't look right. I really like the blacked out lights...you have sold me I am definately doing that. I bought another OEM grille from the stealer and I am in the process of doing another DIY. No mesh this time. But I am blacking out the whole thing. Including the wings I think. I have 2 sets of wings so Ill post pics of it with both. I am in the process of the chrome ring removal, OMG PITA. I started so I cant stop. Im really taking my time, but I think itll be money when im done. Im, dremeling out those little "verticle supports" as well. No Bondo this time thank god. I dont think anyone has done what I am going to do. Very similar, but it should be fairly unique when its done. Im gonna go work on it now. Pics soon I promise. Atroz
but aren't those directional tires running the wrong way? I think you're right. Here's a large view from Tirerack that shows the rotation arrow that looks like it goes the same way as the tire tread 'points'. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/BigPic.jsp?sidewall=Blackwall&tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=ECSTA+SPT

Guest Gitster
WOW ... A unidirectional UHP tire that provides new tire performance in wet and dry even after the tire is more than half worn. It delivers world class technology by combining grip, handling, comfort, exceptional wear and eye appealing characteristics.
Atroz
Hmm ... directional tires, ill have to look into that Just to be safe, only drive backwards until you swap them side to side. Seriously, you might see an amazing difference when you switch them around. The first car I had with directional tires was a RWD Mustang GT. Tires were awesome going forward, but one time I tried to back up on a slight hill on wet grass. I couldn't get any traction.
Guest Gitster
Thanks guys, I cant even believe I didnt know these were directional. I got the wheels on Monday, had them mounted and threw them on, didnt even think about them being directional. Wow, thanks again. I have to say though, I drove in some AWFUL rain tonight. Zero visibility for an hour and a half. They handled the water amazing. Mounted incorrectly or not !
