urfsin
Rangerman - "The problem is then the Z will have a Corvette price tag. That is not a bad thing given how much car you get out of a 'vette for the money (I mean a stripper is around 45k with 400hp) but an extra 15k-20k is a lot." I agree, that's why I think nissan blew it with this last z. Look at my post from before (#19) Slide It Sideways
Whitestar Pilot
Had a black 86 Turbo automatic 300z. Loved that car. Digital dash, ground effects, talking computer lady! Non-intercooled, 5 psi stock. 190 horsepower 3.0 V-6. But... add HKS cat-back, K&N, and manual boost controller (set to 10psi), and you get a low 14-second Mustang killer! It was good times, and the Z was doing it with style.
RangerMan
urfsin and Whitestar Pilot - I agree completely. Whitestar Pilot said "Mustang Killer". No one is making a Mustang killer now - how many cars are RWD, 300hp, below 25k? One.
bosco
I see some Z traffic in threads from time to time and am finding it hard to keep track of all the Legacy/Z owners here. Thought I'd start a thread so we knew who drives what... I currently own a pearl white 92TT Z32 with about 64K on the clock. Basic stage III car w/ Stillen SMIC's, RPS clutch & flywheel, EBC, split DP's and test pipes. Spend a lot of time at TT.net as zgene4. Previous Z was a pearl white 93 2+2 in about the same condition. http://www.photodump.org/stored7/Integrals.JPG yesterday i followed a car that looked exactly like yours even down to the white color but it was a Nissan Fairlady 300 ZX. whats a Fairlady? bosco Stay Stock Stay Happy

All Z are called Fairlady in Japan. You can get decals to replace the rear Nissan 300ZX with Fairlady Z.

300zx2lgt
Kind of an 300ZX thing, most z32 owners pretty much hated the way the 350Z's (Z33) looked so there is a bit of a bias there. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
