MarcusDubya77
Who has used one of the large hydraulic lift machines after Aero spats were installed?? If so where did you place the frront legs that would have ent behind the front wheels before the spats were put on?? Or are mounting points the same? :woowoo:check out the Diamond Gray Metallic Monster!!!
motoracer
mounting spots are the same i had customer w/ a lowered LGT wagon w/ jdm spats and had no problem getting the vehicle on the lift, now getting the vehicle on the alignment rack was an issue w/ rbs F lip. wrxlvr
Where are you guys getting them? The only thing I see on JapanParts is a set that includes the exhaust finisher pieces and it pretty expensive. I don't need or want the exhaust finisher pieces. PGT
HKC Speed is where I got mine. The spats don't interfere with lift points, though if you have a tall jack you might need to come in from an angle.
lhsa
i wonder who motoracer's client was:icon_wink get them from japanparts.com. they were the cheapest (i paid around 330 shipped from japan). received it in a week too. quite fast. don't forget to buy 3m tape to secure the extra flap on the front. PGT
why not just use the trim screws that are included in the kit??
lhsa
i didn't want to screw into the bottom plastic. the stock screw adapters don't sit in the same place as the jdm; they're too far apart. how did you use the screws?
Gire
why not just use the trim screws that are included in the kit?? +1 I screwed mine in. No issues.
PGT
I used a socket and screwed them directly into the rocker panel. There's no provisions for the adaptors.
Hanger
PGT- did HKC had a set in ABP or did you bought one and painted yourself? if so, how much would painting it be? ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○

lhsa
i didn't have the cajones to do that, so i stuck with double sided tape. its holding very well. I used a socket and screwed them directly into the rocker panel. There's no provisions for the adaptors.

lhsa
problem is they don't have them in stock all the time and getting used can take a while since you need the correct model (BP/BL) and color. i didn't want to wait so i went straight to japanparts. if used is 300 and brand new is 330, i don't see why you would wait. avo and other sellers want 375! abakja1
Sometimes you gotta get lucky and check the HKC website to see what color spats are in. Definitely cheaper, even shipping costs than Japanparts IMO...I got mine for $300 from them in black and waited a few weeks for them to search and locate my OBP spats,..
