rodan
Hello, I've been lurking for a couple weeks while we went through the decision and purchase process and thought I should introduce myself. We brought home a silver GT limited sedan a little over a week ago. What a great car! I've always been a Mustang guy, but the 98GT my wife has been driving for the last 3 years never really impressed me compared to my 89: Anyway, the hassle of her having to decide whether or not to take my truck if it looked like it was going to snow finally got to us. We had been looking at sport sedans for a couple of years, but it had to have a manual trans, front or all wheel drive, and decent performance. We test drove the WRX when it came out, and were not impressed with the power down low. The '05 LGT looked like the business, and after test driving it and several others, we bought it! Did I say what a great car this is? Anyway, a little about my motoring history. As you can see with the Mustang above, I like performance. That one ran mid 11's, and I miss it alot! I'm also pretty heavy into bikes. My previous sportbike was a ZX-12 that put 180 hp to the wheel. You've gotta ride something like this to believe it! rodan
Yes, 180 hp in a bike is pretty entertaining. :D It went 9.71 @ 147 in the 1/4 mile. I was always hoping to break 150, but never did. I'm pretty sure it would have gone 200 on top, but never had a venue available to try that...nothing I've ever driven, ridden or owned would accelerate at speeds above 100mph like that bike! I'll post some pics of the LGT after I get the windows tinted. For now, it's pretty stock. I did debadge it, however. I can't wait for the "what the hell kind of car is that?" comments!
