rallispec
looks like a good use of subie bucks with the demise of the SPT exhuast

Selds
Has anyone heard how loud this intake is? Compared it to K&N Typhoon sound wise?
Legacy05
SO ... can you put the intake on .. and then the heatshield afterwards? Or do you need to take the intake off .. put the headshield back on and yadda yadda.
VTGT
Funny that price is 210 yet the one on subarugenuine.com is 165. Pretty stupid to not release the heatshield at the same time. IF you install this yourself they couldn't possibly void your warranty right?
Scotty
$210 is probably MSRP.
AirSix
Has anyone heard how loud this intake is? Compared it to K&N Typhoon sound wise? I'm with Selds, I have the Typhoon and at first the whooshh-pssshh was funny, now it's getting kind of annoying....anyone??? I tell myself that an N/A Forester is just an STI without all the fluff like, power, handling, style, racing heritage, and curb appeal.
dark_templer_102
Heres a picture of the SPT for WRX, i'm pretty sure it wont' be too different from the legacy, but a big picture is nice to have http://www.subiegal.com/images/subaru-spt-intake-wrx2.jpg

godwhomismike
I guess I could always buy it from genuinesubaruparts and have my dealer install it as to not void the warrenty
