Yebbey
I"m still trying to decide which wheel to buy. So here's my question now. Is Rota quality head and shoulders above brands like Exel and SportMax?
Rommel
definitely, Rota is the OEM wheel manufacturer for Mitsubishi and Toyota in the Philippines.
Gire
I can't believe how many Excel/ wheelmax posts are on this forum. It must be the stinky cheap pricing on their wheels that is hard for many to ignore... But I believe in the rule that you get what you pay for. Rota's seem to be an exception to that rule. They have gone aggressively to market with hot pricing and have let the quality speak for themselves over the years, and have built a reputable brand in doing so. At least that's my impression of them.
PGT
Rota is the middle ground between the offbrand stuff and the big name/high dollar stuff. I have had a set of Rota's on every car going back almost ten years. I have had nicer ones and cheaper ones, but you can't go wrong with Rota. I have my first set and are very pleased. My ease of mind comes from knowing that these wheels are made to fit our cars not one size fits all. If you want to spend far more you can get some nice stuff but for about $650 for a set of 4 these are trhe way to go.Many wheels are 300-500 a wheel too much for my budjet. EL PAALO
also nice to not need hubcentric rings. rota has definitely gone the extra mile for the scooby market.

EL PAALO
The local tuner shop here sells those Kumho Ecstra's on all of their wheel sets, how good are those tires? many kumho tires have ecsta in the name ........ which ones? 712's? none of kumho's tires are that good imo, besides their race rubber. the 712 is good for the price, but I'd spend more.
