Painless Posted April 6 Share Posted April 6 Greetings all, I'm running into an oddity that has me confused. I'm installing my old Aukey dashcam from my '19 Legacy into my new '24 Legacy using the fuse-tap. Powers-up and operates normally with ACC power. However, once I start the car, no power (all other car features operating normally). Double checked camera. Swapped camera with a known good camera. Tried a few different F/B Panel fuse locations (No. 29, No. 34, No. 15, No. 2). Has anyone hardwired their dashcam install to the F/B Fuse Panel? If so... Which fuse did you tap into? dohturdima Posted April 6 Share Posted April 6 Don't know if this will help or not in your situation, as I did not install my dash cam myself but had a shop that I used for a while install it (they said that used a mirrortap and used a wiring kit that I purchased along with my camera). My dual dash cam and the accompanying wiring kit. There is an install thread on SubaruOutback forum that may help you find the correct fuses.
