blackobxt
Some questions you’re about to get: You say it’s bone stock then say some upgrades. What are the some upgrades? What dyno was it on? They read differently. What year is your car? How many miles? What kind of condition is it in?
jrvp20
only upgrade done is the greddy exhaust. Was asking what upgrades to do. 120k mileage, 2008. engine and tranny is in good condition car was never abused. tuner said the car made 210whp on the dyno that's all I know
KZJonny
What do you want to do with the car? How do you drive it? Do you drive all on the street, or plan on track use? Where would you like the powerband to be? All this stuff will change how you may/may not want to modify. Best place to start is going to be doing all general maintenance if not already done followed by upgraded sway bars and really good tires. That alone will add a lot of smiles to your driving experience. If it isn’t enough, there are lots of ways we can help you spend thousands of dollars on your GT. But it really does depend on the use case. A monster turbo is great for bragging rights, and wide open straights at a track but you’ll lose all your fun responsiveness from the small stock one. Everything is a tradeoff. Edited August 20, 2023 by KZJonny
Max Capacity
New, the 250 HP number was at the crankshaft, then you have to add in loss for the driveline. So you are not far off from what the car made when new. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
