relative4 Posted April 12, 2023 Share Posted April 12, 2023 After driving tonight, I noticed a strong fuel smell coming from the left underside of the car, below the left rear door. Shouldn’t be much to leak below/around the door… I’d think fuel must be running along something and dripping off on the left. Fuel tank seams are also a common failure point. You should be able to find a post on here about that area. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
