Power Steering Pump Replacement

Hello all. This is my first time visiting this forum, forgive me if I’m breaking a rule of some sort. I’m looking for a replacement power steering pump on an 01 GT wagon (Rev C if it matters). I was told an 08 WRX pump would work as an equivalent but I ordered one and it doesn’t fit. I’d rather not buy used if I don’t have to, was just wondering if anyone else might have info I could use. Looks like 34430AE04A or B depending on build date. I didn’t check the difference between manual and automatic (if they’re different at all). Opposedforces is pretty handy and you can check it against the online part lookups.
