Whitesnake
So when does everyone change their differential & CVT Fluid. My 2015 Legacy is currently at 68k? I changed my Front/read differential @ 41k and haven't done the CVT yet. The Maintenance schedule says differential "I"nspection @ 60k and CVT "I"nspect at 30k. I don't know why i did the Differential at 41k, but that is what the dealer said, and I went for it for some reason. When has everyone done theirs at all? Thanks. DougKelly20
Yes, I did my diffs at 30k and my CVT at 50k. The maintenance schedule calls for the diffs at the 3 yr 36000 interval (according to the dealer) but doesn't give a flush interval on the CVT. I drive my car hard including track duty so that's why I changed mine. It's expensive, so if you are ok with that my opinion is that it's better to flush than not to flush at all. Others do not share that opinion and searching the forum will reveal some spirited discussion about it.
