itsme Posted December 16, 2005 Share Posted December 16, 2005 I Bought my '05 Atlantic Blue Legacy GT Limited wagon with a 5 spd manual on Wedsday night at El Cajon. I used the Subaru site and it should they had the last '05 5 spd GT Wagon in the state. I called them tuesday night and drove 120mi from LA to El cajon after I got off of work and stripped my '04 WRX wagon. It took over 2hr to get there in traffic and got there at 8:58pm they closed at 9pm. My wife had told me to wait till the next day. She said " the car has been sitting there for a whole year! You really think someone going to buy it before this weekend!" This post will show here she was wrong. They gave it to me for $25,160. Sorry dude. I put a light tint on it. The last time I read it was Tuesday mornig before work and this the first time I checked back today. I was going to get local dealers to do a dealer trade but, they could only do $28k. So I called san bern and they said the car was sold and so did carlsbad. El Cajon said they could not hold a car and if someone came in and wanted to buy the car they would. So I got my tried butt up and drove down the same day. The car was $31,160. It has wheel locks ,cargo tray and net, popular equipt. 3( auto dim mirror/compass/homelink and Security sys perimeter alarm, and sub woofer. I got a $6000 e-discount(31,160-6000=25,160) plus a $1500 rebate and my trade($200) in to cover taxes and ( so really 25,160- 1500= $23,660). The invoice was alittle over $28K. so about $5000 under invoice:icon_bigg . I didn't get home till Midnight. (Garnet Red Pearl) for $25,600 I LOVE that this car is rare (!), and from what I hear, the 5 Spd man. is the shiznit over the auto. Go find that car you really want!! good luck. It was not transfered san bernardino my Vin is not the same. I call san bern. and they said that the car was long gone, then I called carlsbad it was gone, I called El cajon and they had it. I knew that only a few were left so I went and got it. I was stripping my car for trade-in when the other guy posted the locals of the cars. I dont want people to think I'm some kind of creep the trolls that forums and snakes people out of their car. I had a '06 LGT wagon on hold when at Renick for $28,000.
