swells
So at 109K I had to replace my head gaskets on my 2010 non turbo. My mechanic bought the gaskets from Subaru. The engine is running better than ever. My question is do I have to do this every 100K miles or is it a one time fix?

Were they leaking fluids on the ground or was the head gasket blown to the combustion chamber? The 2010+ OEM gaskets are supposed to eliminate (or near eliminate) head gasket failures. I have read about few on this forum, so it hasn't been fully eliminated. The 4th gen 2.5i heads gaskets, are not a question if they are leaking but when they leak. I definitely have not seem that failure rate on this section of the forum. Hopefully it will be a one time fix.
swells
Were they leaking fluids on the ground or was the head gasket blown to the combustion chamber? Blown to the combustion chamber and making the car overheat.
Berge56
As long as he used a MLS head gasket, you should be good for a very long time.
