KylerBelluz
So I got my new tires mounted today on my 18x9 wheels which are 245/45/18, and the front is in contact with the strut spring and so is the rear but not as bad. I’m just wondering what size of spacers I should run. I’m thinking 10mm all around just to be safe but would like a second opinion. The car is an 05 Legacy GT. Thanks. KylerBelluz
what is the offset of the wheels? Not too sure, got the wheels second hand and was never told the exact specs
awfulwaffle
Should be cast/inscribed somewhere on the wheel. Usually the backside of the spoke or center hub

whitetiger
Not too sure, got the wheels second hand and was never told the exact specs you need to find out. i could say 10mm spacers would do it for you if you have a +40 to +48 wheel, but an alignment change could also do it. if you are running coilovers, one trick would be to max positive on the camber bolts while using the camber plates to get back to negative. in the rear. a combination of camber arms and the top camber bolt can space out the wheel from the car more to give you clearance. grovlet
Hmm 245/45/18 - That sounds like the wrong tire size for the LGT.... Based on the Wheel / Tire Faq - you really are looking for a 245/35/18 tire... Also as noted the Offset is also critical to the mix here as well - but you'll see in the Faq recommendations for the best fitting offset options. Holla
Even if you get this setup to fit without rubbing, it’s not going to look right on the stock suspension.
Con.Harr91
You definitely have the wrong tires for your car, and from what it sounds like the wrong wheels too.
