mangry Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 It would be great to get clarification as to the purpose of the rectangle hole in the engine case, which opens to the top of the flywheel clutch area, and if theres a cover for it? I would appreciate some help.
Brighton96 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 It's to access the bolts for the torque converter and there is supposed to be a little rubber cover that goes over it, but the cover never stays in place and they usually dry out and get lost once they come loose.

doublechaz Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Check a junkyard. That's where I got the replacement for mine. Other options, if you have access, would be to make a part by 3d print. I'd make it a little undersized where it snaps into the hole and then build up a layer of RTV so it snaps in and stays.
