VespaGTS
I am not sure this has been done or if it’s even worth it? Would rebuilding the seat foam/cushion be possible or should I just get seats? If yes to seats, which ones are plug and play and don’t suck?
nsxr2
Legacy gt limited seats are remarkably resilient. Mine are over 200,000miles strong and look like the day we bought the car. Im curious to see pics of your seats! If they need replacing id just get another set of stock seats, they look sharp, they are functional uet supportative and again they have been incredible with how they hold up. VespaGTS
I don’t have a problem with the seating surfaces. It’s the hard as a rock foam they use. It’s no Lexus. But, I might do a tear down and buy some foam to rebuild the seats. Or buy new aftermarket? I was hoping for feedback on if this has been tried? kzr750r1
Been contemplating this. Mainly since my big butt has helped push the left bolster stitching loose and I probably need to rebuild the spring structure under the foam. The pad is still available from Subaru. apexi
This thread has some pics of what you'd be up against, kinda looks like a pain. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/fix-your-heated-seat-106069.html
Notorious
The heated elements are giving out on my seats. Summer is around the corner in California so I should be fine. I might invest in some aftermarket seat heaters or something. If you’re looking for OEM seats, Spec B and 2008-2014 WRX/STI seats drop in no problem
