dgoodhue
It is 8" in the HK system, I am not sure if all 8" Subwoofer will fit that location.

I'd dig it up, but the search function on Tapatalk doesn't work. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
TDWPgtp
A few points about aftermarket subs in the factory location: 1) the OEM subwoofer is specifically designed for use in a free-air installation, while nearly every aftermarket subwoofer requires a box. This is almost certainly a big deal for sound quality. I would be very surprised if most aftermarket subs sounded halfway decent in there. 2) the rear parcel shelf is probably not really stiff enough to support a much more powerful subwoofer than the factory one (although, it probably really isn't stiff enough for the OEM sub either) 3) I thought I had a "3" but I can't remember it now.
