GTEASER
Anyone have any experience with Hardrace? https://www.hardracesuspension.com.au/ Several of us have their motor mounts, don't know of anyone with suspension components yet. They have a nice selection of stuff for the 5th Gen Legacy. In this thread, about 3 or 4 posts down is the link to their US distributor. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/hardrace-gen-5-engine-transmission-mounts-236375.html?t=236375 GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold

Humble Rumble
I think I remember hearing that their LCAs (and by extension several other parts) are essentially just re-branded Megan Racing parts? Or visa versa (Mega is re-branded Hardrace). Can't confirm if that's 100% the facts though. 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread

Can somebody confirm both sets of motor mounts will fit 5th gen GTs? The motor mounts will fit 6MT or 5EAT, at least the USDM 3.6R and 2.5GT mounts are identical. They probably list the auto trans only because they don't get the manual in Australia where these are produced. Several of us have the front engine mount, and I want to say I remember that someone installed the other 2 motor mounts as well. He should be well and truly frozen in an ice block somewhere in Canada by now. I don't expect we'll hear from him until the spring thaw. fedaykin
Hmm weird, I checked the AU store, said AT. But we did get 6MT GT, I drive a MY10 wagon GT. They probably got lazy. I should probably look at this, seeing my car's about to hit 250,000 km
FLlegacy
There was another user who installed hard race mounts or bushings in the control arms and recommended against it because of the increased NVH.
A_A_ron
Looking at their stuff it seems like I would want the following part numbers. Can anyone who has installed hardrace parts confirm fitment? 7751 http://www.buyhardrace.com/product/hardrace-engine-mounts-2-pcs-set-for-at-trans-model-legacy-5th-bm-br-09-14-_363.html 7720 http://www.buyhardrace.com/product/hardrace-front-engine-mount-for-at-trans-model-legacy-5th-bm-br-09-14_362.html Also should I look into getting the transmission mount as well? cww516
There was another user who installed hard race mounts or bushings in the control arms and recommended against it because of the increased NVH. I think it was the front bushings in the front LCAs that add a bunch of NVH, the rears don't really contribute much to that. Then again, my hardrace rear bushings aren't adding any NVH because they're still sitting on a shelf in my garage, so, you know, caveat emptor or whatever. My crossmember is still on the shelf, too- maybe when the transmission in the Baja does a full-on barrel roll, I'll get around to doing the install / hand-me-down swap... GTEASER
There was another user who installed hard race mounts or bushings in the control arms and recommended against it because of the increased NVH. It doesn't matter what brand of hard bushings are installed in the forward bushing position on the front control arms, they all add intolerable NVH. Stick with the OEM bushings there and stay happy.
