SirJ
Hello, I've started to have a problem for about a week with my 2006 legacy gt (manual transmission). When I try to accelerate the car takes it's time and accelerates slow. Just this morning heading to college I started to reverse and after a short while it stops. It doesn't turn off it just stops reversing. Even when I give it gas. All the fluids are topped off, there are no weird sounds and no check engine light turns on. Please help. relative4
Is your engine turning high RPMs and the transmission & wheels not turning to match? Do experience a sort of slipping sensation as you let out the clutch? If so, your clutch is dead. A bad front differential can have similar symptoms but is much less likely. SirJ
Could be the clutch. I don't feel anything out of the ordinary just that the car won't move. It doesn't shake or make any weird noises. When I'm reversing I can't let go of the clutch completely or it stalls. But when I tried this morning it doesn't stall
DonnyJagaru
I had an old car do this and it was bent shifter forks from me slamming it into gears really, really hard because I perceived that my life sucked at the time.
