Nyy8
Hi All! Just picked up a 2013 Legacy Premium about 5 months ago, sadly the 2.5i as I'm just a student, and when your making 12.50 an hour, your MPGs do matter. I'm looking to possibly add a touch screen to my car, which I assume would be an aftermarket radio kit. Just wondering what is going to be the best one that is going to fit my car. Something clean like this would be awesome, http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/attachments/audio-video-security-navigation/42010d1373818816-2010-subaru-outback-premium-2-5-stereo-upgrade-appradio-3-sm_20130714_104141.jpg One of the most have's is going to be Bluetooth Audio Streaming My expertise lies in IT, and computer building so not cars. So ideally, a shop would install this for me.
FLlegacy
That one will fit, good luck! And welcome to the forum, you can also search this forum as this topic has come up more than once recently.

TDWPgtp
The mount you linked to is, from what I understand, only available from japan...That means $$$. I think the mount itself is over $100. If you happen to find a cheaper place for that mount, please post it here, as I would like to upgrade at some point as well. There are cheaper mounts available, but they do not look as good as the one you posted.
cww516
That looks an awful lot like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00ANAHJ92/ref=pd_aw_sim_107_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=C21X5PCTY3EQST8S2PGS&dpPl=1&dpID=313N74SsieL

nads
This depends. Do you have steering controls and/or a back up camera?
TwoTone
That looks an awful lot like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00ANAHJ92/ref=pd_aw_sim_107_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=C21X5PCTY3EQST8S2PGS&dpPl=1&dpID=313N74SsieL https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/29758 I was lucky enough to buy one used here. I will say from what I saw of the Metra kits- worth the money.
TDWPgtp
Even though the JDM one doesn't look THAT much different than the Metra one by itself, to me it looks a great deal better once installed with a radio than the Metra one, at least judging by the pictures people have posted using both. The finish looks to match better, and the corners that bulge out are there to cover the corners of the aftermarket radios that protrude from the dash surface. Then again, it is 10X the price... Golferdude1087
https://radio-upgrade.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=226 This is my favorite. Its direct plug in and theres a review on the forum http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/my-new-oem-style-nav-arrived-today-236081.html?t=236081&highlight=nav
Nyy8
Maybe it's just me, but the interface looks a little dated on that? I was thinking something like this, https://www.crutchfield.com/p_113DDX773B/Kenwood-DDX773BH.html?avf=Y But that radio looks so OEM, it's great. Golferdude1087
Our interface in general is dated, if you saw how the 2010-2012 Nav looked you would say that is a monumental upgrade (2013-2014 was MUCH better) It does look OEM, but thats not necessarily a bad thing, means it just doesn't look out of place. bigboy292000
There are several threads in the Audio forum that go into this kind of stuff. My thread here might be one of latest ones as I did this just a few months ago, and I tried to link to stuff that was useful. Generally speaking - it is not terribly difficult but it takes careful research and planning.
