I really want this safe, but they're obnoxiously big

I was looking pretty hard at a similar Rhino safe. I loved the antique look of it, but it would have cost me ~$700 more than the Liberty, which I got a screaming deal on because it was a factory 2nd. It has a tiny scuff low on the front, which I couldn't even see until it was pointed out.

Mine is 42x72... it's obnoxiously big, but I love it. Fits everything I need to, with room to grow. ;)

Been in WV for 5 months and I have purchased only a new safe. Unfortunately it is not a new level of self control i have reached but a shortage of funds after the rather expensive move and bath i took on the home in Cali.

My new years resolution is to get rid of some of the California Roster models I have for non-neutered models. So much good stuff available where I am now its almost overwhelming. Gotta love livin in the free world, lol.

I've been drooling over a PPQ Q5 SF at my local shop. Its a big egg to lay at $1350 but damn I love my PPQ M2 and the added weight and barrel length has to be glorious to shoot.

Another S&W joined the stable today after a long search.

Model 27, 3 1/2"bbl, minted in ~1971.

The early 27s are starting to bring solid Python money, so it took quite a while to find one at a decent price that was in great condition, but still a shooter.

Nothing wrong with a little gun porn! I'll have to get some of the rifles out for photos. Buy for hunting mostly. As you can see they get the job done...

Happened to have these two on my desktop from this years whitetail season. I'll open up the safe this weekend and pull a few out.

First is a Remington 700 in .243. My 20 year olds rifle since he was about 13. He's with the buck. His first actually, and nice 8 pointer.

The second one I'll definitely get some more photos of. It's a Remington 1903a - Barrel dated 8/43 in 3.06 - It was restocked with a hunting stock by a friends grandfather who carried it in WW2. I had the VX3 installed. Thing weighs like 9 pounds. But it'll hit a fly at 150 yds. My 18 y/o loves the thing, although the doe he shot with it was well...small lol. He shot it on a gas pipline at about 125 yards so I do cut him some slack.

I picked up something frivolous, but fun yesterday...

Cimarron (Pietta) SAA in .45LC

I've been wanting to pick up an SAA, something fun in a "Texas BBQ" sort of way. Rugers are great shooters, but just don't feel right in the hand. I didn't want to spend the money on a Colt, since I do want to shoot it, but I didn't want a transfer bar, or other new gimmicks. SAAs should click four times on cocking, and this particular Pietta/Cimarron does.

This one is the "Gen. Patton" variant, but the only nod to old Blood and Guts is the lanyard ring and the grips. Otherwise it's just a 4 3/4 nickel SAA with 'engraving'. And the laser engraving actually looks pretty good, though it's clearly not traditional engraving. The lanyard ring is coming off, and the grips will get changed out eventually.

Now I need to dig out my .45LC loading gear, which hasn't been used in almost 25 years! :p

Not an add, but... Due to some unexpected housing repairs/expenses I have several firearms I am now "willing" to sell. Meaning I do not want to and it will hurt, but I will do what I must.

New to the area, so no friends to sell to. Not a fan of selling online (armslist, gunbroker, etc.) too many "craigslist" stories. I have only done PPT's in person using an FFL.

Deff not a fan of pawning.

Might hit up a few local stores about consignment.

If around the mid-Atlantic tri-state and are interested, I prefer the transactions to be in person.

start with selling all of your nanny state guns and buy real ones when the funds re-appear :)

what are you selling?

Glocks (several), Sigs (several 229's), EMP9, XD, Five-Seven (might really kick myself), KSG, UTS-15, S&W wheel guns (several), AR's you name it.

I want more, not less. But wife has been out of work since June and the house is leaking from the roof and windows.

I would guess that all of the old timers in this thread already have everything that we need. If not... shame on you

Must have about everything I need (at least that's what the remaining room in the gun safe is telling me), but my shooting club is closed and nonessential travel discouraged. It's like being all dressed up with no place to go . . .
