Are intake and exhaust upgrades worth it?

Recommended Posts

Nice to see you got it tuned. Don't get to excited about the # if you still have the stock turbo. See my sig. That's with some head porting, granted that is on a heart breaker true reading Mustang dyno.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

My numbers were pretty much identical to what you have there when I went in for a baseline on a mustang dyno Etune,Stock exhaust and Cobb catted.

I just recently installed a magnaflow catback and, let me tell you bruh, It's how stage 2 was meant to be. I bought into the whole "stock exhaust is good for 300 whp" theory and while that might be true for some setups, the drivability and feel is much improved with a turboback.

You're 2/3 of the way there, let that 4th gen play its sweet subie song!
