BBPeik
Process west! Blaze a trail for us...we need this! http://www.processwest.com.au/products/subaru/wrx-g4-2015/my15-wrx-verticooler-intercooler-system I have looked at the process west verticooler setup and it does look promising. I like the way they are thinking. Could be a good way to go. They are not cheap though. My someday I will be done with it thread.
Zee199969
I'm thinking it should mount up just fine. Now whether it clears the slave cylinder or hood is another issue My "Build"

FLlegacy
I have seen it on a previous gen sti, it is a very nice setup. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
FLlegacy
Based on the install, the splitter will need some fab work and our small hood scoop isn't going to help, be it seems doable. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

My car is finished less than 24 hours and I am already working on more mods. My someday I will be done with it thread.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt here, a built motor isn't finished when you're using the stock intercooler and leaving power on the table. So you've currently reached a "milestone", it will be finished when an aftermarket intercooler goes on the car, TMIC or FMIC...... hint hint. BBPeik
True very true. I just mean finished as in done with the current round of mods and now I can drive it without any worries. I have thought about FMIC, but would really like to keep top mount. Dammit Joe, now I am thinking FM. My someday I will be done with it thread. BBPeik
Just a heads up. Since the engine swap is now finished I am going to be moving further updates back to my normal build thread. App updates will be there. Including my FMIC thoughts. My someday I will be done with it thread.

Mrstacy
Cobb has a new product for the STI, They say it won't fit a fourth generation, but i wonder if it'll fit a fifth generation. http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/cooling/subaru-front-mount-intercooler-kit-sti-2008-2014
Sarang
Cobb has a new product for the STI, They say it won't fit a fourth generation, but i wonder if it'll fit a fifth generation. http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/cooling/subaru-front-mount-intercooler-kit-sti-2008-2014 It would not be a direct fit since our turbo is in a different location and our intake manifolds are different. With that many differences it seems like it would be more cost effective to buy an intercooler and fab all your own piping.
Ellesedil
We also need to do some minor structural modification, if I recall. So, even if someone built a kit for us, it's still not just a bolt-on type deal.
