Legacy_Fan
People buying a stick with this car are enthusiasts, and almost every other car designed for enthusiasts is available with an extra cog. Good point. I buy a new car every couple years and if the '07s don't have a 6 speed manual, I will not be buying another Legacy.
melayout
The MazdaSpeed6 official specs are out. http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/displayPage.action?pageParameter=modelsSpecs&vehicleCode=MS6 Weight = 3586 lbs, >200lbs more than an unlimited and >100lbs than the limited 6MT, .0853 6th ratio, 3.350 Final Drive ratio, 215/45/18 @ 25.6 inches Using the above data in http://www.csgnetwork.com/multirpmcalc.html, you get 3000RPM @ 80MPH vs 3301RPM @ 80MPH in the LGT. Plus the official EPA Mileage 19/25, is just like the LGT. The specs aren't impressive, but jury it still out till actual test-drives and reviews take place. fzanetti
Has anyone actually driven/seen/touched the MazdaSpeed6 at all??? I went to a Mazda dealership and they didn't have any, not even schedule for the first one to arrive... Very weird IMHO... Unless the car is still 'not ready'... Thoughts? Also, maybe when they bring a H6 Twin Turbo 400HP+ it will justify a 6MT hahahahaha http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20928 Enjoy your weekends guys..
