Scruit
Got the engine out of my car. Noticed that there's TP50 flywheel bolts and holes in the flywheel for reaching through to get at the bolts - but they don't line up. Is there a trick to getting them to line up - or is this an indication of a problem? Looks like I can lock the FW in place then turn the crank pulley - only need about 10 degrees. Underdog
Still on the original DMFW? Lock the ring gear portion and rotate the friction portion back in to place. The Crimson Dynamo
Scruit
Still on original, yes. Will do that, thanks.
FJuan
Correct, you'll need to rotate the outter part of the FW to align the holes. I just use a big screwdriver and stick it through one of the holes to rotate the outer FW. My wife's balls are delicious.

FJuan
Aftet 9 yrs I finally switch to the smfw. So much better and so much smoother. I. wished i did this 5 yrs ago. Underdog
What is the advantage versus cost? Lighter, more direct engagement "feel", can be resurfaced. Use the money you save from buying a used one like F1 recommended to have your new clutch and FW balanced as an assembly. I have seen some clutches out of balance by as much as 40g, when <1g is the typical recommended spec. The Crimson Dynamo
