Removing Instrument Cluster?

Recommended Posts

I've been searching for about an hour and have had no luck finding anything; my apologies.

Does anyone have a tutorial or a brief description of how to remove the instrument cluster on the dashboard in order to replace the lights?

Note - I do have experience removing the shift knob, trim, radio/ac unit and cubby pocket, but I haven't tried removing the instrument cluster (speedometer, etc.). Am I basically a step away?

Kind of a confusing diagram they have there, but yes, top screw, and then two along the bottom of the cluster. To get to the bottom two, use a longer screw driver, and first remove the plastics from under the steering column, and possibly the reinforcement as well.
