badtiming
After lying to myself for a few months that my Cree LEDs were the greatest thing ever and trying to justify buying them, the left head light started flickering the other day. Now with the choice of buying another LED bulb or trying something else I came to terms that my lights didn't really light up the road much. I will say they looked awesome to look at. I guess there is a reason why most manufacturers don't use LED's yet. Anyways I decided to pick up Kensun HIDs from amazon. They had great reviews and come with a two year warranty. I will be doing a full review if anyone is interested.

Not sure what the ballasts are since they came with the car. Once they color shift after a little bit they will be perfect. Except they are coming out soon anyways when I finish my retrofit

Err, as long as I can decide on either the stock, or a custom shield. Gotta pickup some TSX-R lenses, too.

Gotta pickup some TSX-R lenses, too. Here's your pics. I decided I'm just going to make a thread to document my retrofit so then other people can use it if need be. I forgot to look for the RSB part number for you too. I'll do it tomorrow after work. http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Mobile%20Uploads/20150408_162504_zpsizqfrfp7.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Mobile%20Uploads/20150408_162547_zps1vwjipib.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Mobile%20Uploads/20150408_162554_zps6s9oo6wz.jpg

MrTris
Did you need a relay harness for your kensun kit? I have two relays. LMK if you want one and PM me your address, I'll send one out to you. Get the Anti-Flicker/Error Cancelling Caps, though. Worth it.

I took mine out because it was a mess and I have had no issues at all with my TRS kit.

The Anti-Flicker/CANBUS Cancellers are basically just inline capacitors. They're not more than like, 8" long altogether. One for each side, though. xtea
Im thinking of getting some kensuns. Hey Tris is there any reason not to get them? You seem to have already upgraded past them. Also is it best to just upgrade the low beams or do people use these for low, high, and fog?

Also is it best to just upgrade the low beams or do people use these for low, high, and fog? You don't want HID high beams. Jason has them on his fogs, and they're OK, but not as bright as you'd think they'd be. Definitely recommend for lowbeams, though. I'm upgrading "past" them simply because I want to. I want a wider swath, and, honestly, I had some other things I wanted to do with my headlights anyway. Worthy investment, though -- do it.

Worthy investment, though -- do it. Reason being behind the not wanting HID high beams, that are a separate bulb from the low beam like ours, is that HIDs take time to warm up. Even though I'm pretty sure our lows stay on with the highs, it is still not something you want to do. Our high beams are actually pretty awesome compared to most cars. The high beams, and low beams for that matter, suck in my trans ams As for fogs, I actually took mine out to retrofit also. The really didn't do much for me except for looks. I want to change that. Tris can you post a picture of the relay harness you are talking about. I'm pretty sure I don't have one at all and I have yet to have any issues. I'll grab a picture of the weird harness I had. I was short on time for the install and haven't installed the relay harness yet. Am I safe for a few days until I get the chance to install the harness? You should be fine. I don't think I have ever had one and no issues here.
MrTris
You want to get this kit, in H7: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Kensun-Conversion-Colors-Premium-Ballasts/dp/B004ZF39T0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1429109640&sr=8-1&keywords=Kensun+HID]Amazon.com: Kensun HID Xenon Conversion Kit "All Bulb Sizes and Colors" with Premium Ballasts - 9006 (HB4) - 6000k - 2 Year Warranty: Automotive[/ame] . . . and, as a base, that's it. However, I suggest you get these, which are CANBUS error cancellers: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Computer-Warning-Canceller-Anti-Flicker/dp/B00HTOB0NG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1429109640&sr=8-3&keywords=Kensun+HID]Amazon.com: HID Kit Computer Warning Canceller & Anti Flicker (1 Pair) - (Original Kensun Brand): Automotive[/ame] .. And this is the relay, which, I never installed. All it does is connect the kit to a direct power source, like the battery, hence, the inline fuse: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Kensun-Conversion-Universal-Single-Harness/dp/B00FP0G5EK/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1429109640&sr=8-9&keywords=Kensun+HID]Amazon.com: Kensun HID Conversion Kit Universal Single Beam Relay Wiring Harness - H1 H3 H8 H9 H10 H11 9005 9006 5202 880 881 9140 9145: Automotive[/ame] One can mix/match, or do all three, the result is still the same: Better-than-stock output. I have the first two, but, the relay looked way too complicated to install, so I didn't.

MrTris
That's why I didn't install it! Lol way too many wires and not enough time. Honestly, until you said something just now, I kinda forgot about what a PITA it is to install while doing the rest of the kit. I feel like I should have warned you about it before selling them to you.
