Still deciding if I want to cut them up or not :( since the shroud wont fit over my Muranos.

What's different about the JDM sections? Is that a matte silver where the USDMs are chrome or black-bottomed?

The Nightshades bit isn't too much more work -- it's a matter of taking a few bucks and a few hours to paint 'em up and lay it on thick. This particular one is just my "tester", but, may become a running unit should something happen with the other two.

That said, I'm sticking with my Nightshaded ones -- I'm going full Panda here.

Yea the matte silver and there is a spot in the back to light up the bar thing separate from the turn signal.

Trying to decide if I want to keep that color, or trade someone these for a chrome set or something so I can just cut it up and paint it and not feel bad.

I want to order a Kensun HID kit for my 2010 Legacy. What other items do I need for a complete kit. I'm looking at the Amazon site "55 watt Kensun HID Xenon Conversion Kit (all bulb sizes and colors) With Digital Ballasts-H7-6000k". Should I also get the Single Beam Relay Wiring Harness as well as the anti-flicker/error cancelling caps with it? Anything else I'm missing?

Thanks in advance!

I suggest you stick with 35w and if you're not in the rush. Order these! they're better for sure and they have 55w too if you still wanna go 55w. It takes about 2-3wks to get it. TRS has 55w ones instock for $40 if you want it less than a week if you decide to get some XB35 with it you can get free shipping. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Cheaper-Canbus-12V-35W-X3-H7-HID-xenon-kit-4300K-5000K-6000K-8000K-10000K-12000K-h7/2035593410.html

Not sure which is "better" but im pretty happy with the results and simplicity of the kensun kit. Its hard to get a good picture but I can assure you they are much brighter than factory bulbs!

Kensun and Innovited are the same rebrand under power ballast. Innovited less failure than Kensun in my experience as im a dealer for Kensun 1.5ys, Innovited 2yrs now. I recommended Fast Bright tho they are par with OEM ballast fast start and bright.

Took most of a day to get the Kensun kit in my 10 Legacy. Now DRL's don't work. No biggie. I thought the 6000k low beams would be brighter, but I think I need to re-aim them. The low beams stay on when switching to high beams now which is awesome.

Thread resurrection.

I can't even remember what HID kits I have in my car now - been in there since 2007. Been having some issues with them lately though, so today ordered new Kensun kits for all my lighting. Also replacing the relay harnesses and adding a power distribution block so that the harnesses don't need to connect directly to the battery. Went with 5k for high/low beams and 3k for the fogs...
