the plot thickens. interesting to compare to boxerpwr's experiences. this is on 91, correct? doesn't seem lag is too much of a problem with the 20g.

what are your fuel mods again?

stock STi TMIC?

what was the baseline setup?

what kind of dyno?

keep that info coming!

getting out of the legacy game

My 20g vs. his 20g,..355hp vs only 326,...

BAH!! Who cares,...Those are freaking AWESOME!!!

I dont know how you roll being able to pump out more hp and tooling with a perfectly "new-ish" car so soon and not worry about reliability,...Wish I had a "roll" to pimp my car out,..Of course I plopped my $26k (actually wire transferred) and do not have to worry about payments,..hee hee,...but this took about 5 yrs savings and the right timing,..

My previous car, I had to wait a few years after dealer warranty and wearing out oem parts before making a turbo/fmic/fuel mods,...

Full exhaust and AP for now will suit me fine for now and dream about how much potential I could have like the rest of you guys,...

Like Aerosmith says,..DREAM ON!! DREAM ON!!!

and it says these are 4th gear pulls.....interesting. I thought all 5-speeds are done in 3rd gear pulls on dynos.

what would be the affect of comparing the same car with a 3rd gear pull vs. a 4th gear pull?

4th gear pulls are slightly slower and give you more data to look at.

Usually I do 3rd gear for broad tuning and 4th if i want to do more fine tuning.

thanks for unlocking the puzzle.

so for us English-only dweebs, the effective PSI conversion is

125 kPa = 4 PSI

200 kPa = 14.5 PSI

250 kPa = 21.75 PSI

so that does mean the final runs were hovering just below 22 PSI. pretty aggressive boost. but it sure seems to be holding nicely without creeping!

cause its 20G for STi... been out for a while.. works very well. Nice power with 91 octane. Higher than most Ive seen but he's also running more boost than most I've seen too.

Frankly, I expect both STi setup and Legacy setup to prove to be similar.

Just like I expect 280 or so from a Protune on 91 octane and a VF39 STi swap on a Legacy with TBE.

the KPA is absolute pressure.. with starts at vaccum... 0 psi is 100kpa absolute.. like stated above.
