Chappy
This is very real i have a mandrel bender im working with to mass produce the kits If you ordered today the kit would be ready in 3 weeks You can have a bar and plate OR Tube and fin your choice flanged to fit stock turbo w all couplers and T bolts not shipped price of $1150 This is very tempting..I cant wait to see the dyno results.. One question, what is the difference between the bar/plate and the tube/fin?

scans007
^ Very true....once my setup gets completed, we will start a new thread..... Didn't want too many questions and such until we had all the answers with proven dyno's and such like that...... Might be a small delay though

RobY
I have not seen many dyno results on the 40t. But given the stated flow rates It dosent look to "big" If im gonna screw with the turbo Im not gonna get somthing that might not give me over 300 WHP on pump gas on a conservative tune. If I upgrade I want somthing with at least 20G performance. If you guys can get over 325 WHP reliably on pump gas with a 40t Ill be happy. Because I believe the 40t is a very good everyday turbo. The 50t might be a bit laggy.

RobY
cool beans Im looking forward to your results. According to your numbers the 40t isnt as "small" as I thought. Now only if they made a EJ5-45T... that would be a perfect turbo.

NHLEG
Um, how do you remove the battery? No flipped manifold? Does look nice though.
scans007
Remember, right now in the design phase still........ Why flip the manifold if you don't need to? Pretty sure the goal is an easy bolt on solution......most people prob don't wanna be flip'n around their manifolds. It would be easier to make though As for the battery, we talked about it......that's about it. For the amt of times you replace the battery, take'n off a few bolts won't bother me. Either that or grab a smaller better battery Time will tell......

ChruiSSer
You could relocate the battery to the trunk. It would improve on space and another area where the front mount piping could go. It should be VERY easy to make a braket to mount it as well. Good job though! Can you take a pic of the turbo where the FMIC mounts to it? That's the only weary area I have in my opinion, is the angles....
