fattburr
I got a honeycomb original JDM grill for the 08 LGT. The seller posted that it needs minor modifications. Anyone knows what is actually needed before I go ahead and take off the original one? I searched the forum and can't find anything so far.
TheBlackPearl
I don't think that the JDM grills work with the USDM bumpers? Check the exterior/aesthetics (sp?) subforum though, I'm sure you'll find the answer there. Self proclaimed PNW Craiglist find of the day Champion, April 2014. StoplightAssassin
The JDM Spec B grille requires some pretty decent modifications to the USDM bumper cover to make it fit, and I've heard even when it does fit, it doesn't fit that well. that's why I made this a long time ago: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/my-diy-jdm-spec-b-grille-114000.html

I did mine in mesh but I really like the way the honeycomb looks. There is one on ebay now for much less money here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1998-2011-FORD-CROWN-VICTORIA-HONEY-COMB-GRILLE-NEW-/230580286818?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ACrown+Victoria&hash=item35afa7f562&vxp=mtr I think I just may do this to mine as well. Max Capacity
IMO the mesh in the back of the grill looks much better.
