SpecBamf41
Looks like when the car was rebuilt they didn't use oem headlights. On the lease they have depo molded into thw plastic and they are spider crack a lot and are not more thne 2 years old. When I put the halos in I wanna replace the lens and my question is, are you guys fimilar with these non oem headlights and will an oem lens fit them? Also can you even buy just lenses? SpecBamf41
They work and look like normal oem headlights. I just can't believe that they are oem cause they are already all sun cracked Sent from my S3 BNR18g on 93oct
SpecBamf41
Yup research comfirms the depo is non oem and the same problem happens on all the headlights they make. From car make to car make. Model to model. But it seems that oem lens will fit them. Anyone know where I can buy oem lens? lockmedic
Only place to get OEM lenses is attached to OEM headlamp assy's. They aren't sold separately as they aren't really intended to be removed.
JmP6889928
Search the part out thread and you can most likely find a set of OEM headlight assemblies.
Diode Dynamics
DEPO makes OEM quality headlights btw...they are actually a pretty well-built assembly I can't say the same for other manufacturers because I don't have as much experience with their products. But I'd suggest staying away from aftermarket headlights with added "CCFL Angel Eyes" or LED assemblies....I have customers come in on a daily basis asking if we carry replacements for those LEDs because they fail quite often. You may have better luck, but with headlights is it really worth the risk? Nick C. John C. Diode Dynamics
Moderators BarManBean Posted September 10, 2013 Moderators Share Posted September 10, 2013 Call TRS. Now that I think about it, when they did my HID install for me, they didn't include the stock lenses when they sent them back--so they should have at least one set "Bullet-proof" your OEM TMIC! <<Buy your kit here>> Not currently in stock
lockmedic
TYC isn't too bad either, in my experience.
SpecBamf41
Depo is horrible. From everything I've seen the lens with get little cracks all over them. Garbage. Mine have this problem and they are new within 2 years. Thanks ill call that company soon and see. Sent from my S3 BNR18g on 93oct

notthesnail
Those look like they've been modified. There are no reflectors in the corner. Depo builds like OEM: clear corners have clear reflectors, orange corners have orange reflectors. Plus, the projector housing is black. Depo uses chromed housings. Looks like yours may have had a home clear and blackout job.
Diode Dynamics
Those don't appear to be OEM IMO Nick C. John C. Diode Dynamics
turboboost
Have to agree with notthesnail. Those look like non-OEM headlights that've been cleared and blacked out (most likely non-professionally).

lockmedic
If they were removed carelessly, that could cause the lenses to crack. Not necessarily Depo's fault.

SpecBamf41
This is true. Some people think 300 plus degrees and 15 min is the proper way to split them. Really 200 and 10 min should be the norm... Could be a combo of both depo and user error because I read a lot about depo headlights cracking like this... Drew888
Almost, it's usually 250 for 10-12 minutes. Some try to speed things up by going 300+ degrees for a shorter period. If they actually go 300+ degrees and same or longer duration take their keys away. Good luck with your headlights and please let us know if you decide to try Depo again or TYC.
